Debbie had a dress made for her in Europe.  When it arrived, it was nothing short of completely disappointing.  Debbie had to find another dress in a panicked 2-week time frame. The Boutique she purchased from (Jessica Bridal) found a beautiful designer gown for her but it needed to be fitted.  She was referred to me and within an hour she was in my Boutique – very stressed out and wondering if it was even possible to make this new gown fit before she flew back to Europe.  I dropped everything, and made it happen.  The bodice was too low in the front so I crafted a lace insert for her.  The bust wasn’t quite supportive enough so I needed to ‘get the girls’ in the right spot.  This required the correct bra.  Magic only happens if you know what you are doing and have the right components.  I also crafted delicate drop sleeves using matching chiffon from my fabric stash.  I shortened the waist, reconstructed the zipper area of the skirt & reworked the belt.   Hems, more loops added to the lace-up back, secured loose beading…all completed in a rush time frame.  Debbie was so pleased and felt like she could be comfortable and age-appropriately dressed on her wedding day.  She really appreciated me accommodating her critical timeline and reassuring her that all would be well.

Debbie had a second ceremony dress that was fully beaded; the kind of beads that are not knotted so that if one comes loose, they all tend to drop; off one by one.  I basically re-beaded 80% of the dress, adapted the back with pearled buttons and hemmed the delicate tulle layers by hand.  She was very pleased and look fabulous in her two beautiful dresses.
